Dr ERae Langdon

Dr. Langdon grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Around age 15, thanks to an observant massage therapist and her chiropractor, she was diagnosed with scoliosis. Dr. Langdon would visit her chiropractor and regularly benefit from those visits, which led to her decision to pursue chiropractic as a career. In 2018, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado – Boulder, obtaining Bachelor’s degrees in both neuroscience and psychology. 5 months after her graduation from CU, she moved to Iowa to begin her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

While in chiropractic school, Dr. Langdon served as a campus guide and teaching assistant for both biochemistry and physical diagnosis courses. Dr. Langdon also served as a student clerk at a Veterans Affairs hospital in central Iowa, where her clinical training was accelerated through serving our nation’s veterans in the pain management department. She also completed a Research Honors Project, and later worked on an additional research project which led to publication in the journal, Patient Education and Counseling. At her graduation ceremony, Dr. Langdon was awarded Research Honors and graduated Cum Laude.

As a student, Dr. Langdon was a prominent member of the Student American Chiropractic Association, holding roles as her school chapter’s President, Chair of the national Leadership Committee, and serving as a student liaison to the American Chiropractic Association’s Commission on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Dr. Langdon currently serves as a committee member on ACA’s Commission on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, as well as serving on ACA’s NextGen Public Relations Committee, and ACA’s NextGen Accountability Committee.

Outside of academic settings, Dr. Langdon grew up relieving stress and otherwise staying healthy through participation in martial arts. While a student at CU, she also trained kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and wrestling. She even competed in a state Muay Thai tournament in 2017! While Dr. Langdon is thrilled to be back “home” in Colorado where one can explore all the hiking trails with beautiful mountain views, she’s also so excited to get back on the mats!
