Janine Crifasi DC CCST CWI CPN

Boston Clinical Director
Chiropractic Physician (MA, RI)
Chiropractic Practitioner (NH)

Dr. Janine Crifasi grew up on Long Island, NY in a loving and, as she will proudly tell you, a loud Italian family. Her family fueled her desire to help people feel comfortable in her presence as well as make them laugh whenever possible. She admits that you will definitely know by her laughter and speaking volume when she is in one of our offices. Dr. Crifasi is an accomplished athlete. In her formative years playing sports became an outlet for stress she experienced while managing learning disabilities. She has always had a passion for learning and the ability to share that in an easy to understand way. She credits this background for laying the foundation of her warm welcoming style and for the consummate multitasker she is today managing multiple offices in different states.

From an early age she learned to work hard and play hard. That often led her to be an accident waiting for a place to happen. The frequent ER visits inspired her to understand the workings of the human body, particularly the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. She became more inquisitive, especially to understand many unanswered or minimized responses to complex health conditions of her own or of family members. This led to a more comprehensive approach garnering the integral connection between our brain and our body. By connecting these dots it led her to the Holistic and Functional Model for health and wellness.

As a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic she has been serving families in Northern California, Boston, the Southcoast and the SeaCoast with a focus in women’s health, sports, and motor vehicle injuries for over 25 years. Her goal is always to guide you in ways to achieve better health naturally. In order to help patients with musculoskeletal conditions, she has received additional extensive training in Spinal Trauma, the Activator Method, and a certification in Postural Neurology.

In an effort to better serve her patients, Dr. Crifasi completed post-doctoral specialty training in blood chemistry, thyroid chemistry, brain chemistry, neuro-immune, and neuro-endocrine functional medicine. This knowledge of the brain-gut axis, and the mechanisms that impact on health, allow her to provide patients with easily implemented and therapeutic lifestyle medicine recommendations. Her next step was to join the team at Delta S Performance, and complete her post-doctoral studies through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies to obtain board certification in chiropractic functional neurology through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
